The revised CCREL branding is centered around the newly developed logo. This identity mark visually represents the key marine subjects that the lab conducts research on. The marine worm (polychaete) is associated with the oyster, a key specimen of interest in Texas Gulf Coast conservation. The simplified sea grass represents the underwater environment that the lab strives to protect.
